I have taken an online class before and the participation level really depends on the teachers curriculum. This was a short class but i liked that it involved a lot of interaction and assignments including my fellow students. I have hard time with online classes and working together with other students, but this class because of the many assignments involving other students i feel it made it easier to do. I wish this course was longer so i could get to know everyone better. You did a great job at getting us to respond and open up to other students, thanks so much and have a great summer.

Blog Assignment 1!
My Teacher Ms. Vrooman asked us to make a blog with the specific question, “How realistic do you think it will be for you to adhere to a schedule in order to devote the time necessary to complete the required work in your online courses? What measures will you take to ensure that this happens?”
I believe completing online courses is a time demanding yet ideal way to continue education as a grown, mature, full time employed, family man. The sense of successfully completing online courses is for a person to know his or her learning style to compensate for a lack of one on one teaching experience of traditional classes. To be a successful online student is preparing goals and using time management tools such as a planner or day calendar. It is also good to be aware problematic skills deficits such as procrastination.
In the future I will try to use a calendar and reminders to keep me on track. I will also be trying to manage time more wisely to allow myself more time to study instead of crunch right before assignments are due. I will also stride to separate family time from school time.
